For the True Dark Matter skin, maybe change the color of his...fin thingies? It would allow you to see what weapon he's using on his back/back-right frames? Just a suggestion.

Inspired BURST! -V6b Weapon Competition -Ends 9/28
Hello! Been a hot minute since I've posted, and since then, we've gotten a few submissions from our signup people!
I really appreciate the turnout so far; frankly, I'm a little surprised by it!
I'm posting again for a couple of reasons; the first is as a gentle reminder that there's only two weeks left! Remember, submissions will end by the end of the day on September 28th!
If you wanted to submit, make sure you set aside some time in the coming weeks to work on your weapon!
The other reason I'm posting is to give a small announcement; each of the judges plan to create and include their own weapons in the final pack, because we wanted to join in on the fun too. The big caveat with this is, obviously, the judge weapons will not be scored, and cannot win (or even place). We just wanted to make them for fun!
To give an example, here's my own creation, Plasma Spark, inspired by Kirby Super Star's Plasma ability!

[GAME MODES] Score Frenzy - Gamemode Compilation
Another gamemode backport..
Beacon Brawl
Spawns a beacon somewhere on the map, picking it up will lower the amount of points your team has based on the amount of nearby allies. Dying will give the target player your beacon. Lose all of your team's points to win.

I have added an emergency timer in case it spawns out of bounds, and the sprite will be replaced at some point.

[GAME MODES] Score Frenzy - Gamemode Compilation
The second gamemode that I've added:
Deathmatch
Pretty much a modified version of Arena, where it's Team Deathmatch instead.

I'm not sure what else to specifically add right now, but I am thinking of trying to recreate Capture The Flag next (you can't just switch the gamemode because of replaced actors)

Ice Launchers
Hello! Well, I'm not sure that it's a problem, but ice launchers from Cold Man stage make too loud sound before they launch an ice block. I think that this sound should be quiter or be replaced with a better one.

Weekly mod news 8/9/2024 "Two days of mod works, I thought I would do more..."
Bloons mod: "ninja monkey week"
1. ninja monkey hud redrawn with a smoother animation and more frames, but firing speed nerfed by 5 frames as a balance the class out so the dart monkey doesn't feel outclassed right off the bat. (only default has this so far)
2. removed divert, blast, & sabo scrolls, as they did very little for gameplay. I've added a new system for the ninja monkey scrolls as an automatic buff giver, shinobi tactics ninja monkeys have a radius that gives the buff to ninja monkeys nearby without the worry of throwing a scroll. *I may add the other scrolls back if I manage to make them more fun to use.*
3. new upgrades for ninja monkey, introducing the Sai & Katana upgrades & smoke bomb ability. Huds are made for these as well.
Sai: stab in front of you using a Sai popping two layers to the target bloon! costs $100
Katana: swing your katana from right to left dealing 3 layers onto 7 bloons in one swing! can pop lead in a single slice and deals great damage to all other bloons! costs $800
Crouching Monkey/Smoke Bomb: hold reload for 2 seconds to gain access to a super fast movement option and be immune to damage for 2 seconds. costs $1000
Shadow Clone: Press zoom and a shadow clone of yourself will fight bloons for a short amount of time all of your abilities are applied to him as well. But has a long cooldown. costs $2000
Platformer mod: "Moving platforms"
1. MM5's rotating platform implemented, I also added the functionality of snake blocks from the proto castle stages I just need to make a proper snake block actor.
Other:
1. started working on a video: Vclasses shenanigans 4
Plans for next week? I want to get a video done for the upcoming week but keep working on the ninja monkey as I feel like I've found something that will make him really fun to play as, you're fast but fragile so why not have more tools and options to escape danger if you ever get caught?
Now I just need to get the huds for the rest of the ninja monkey upgrades, make more shadow clones as they get stronger depending on your upgrades. And finally work on the flash bomb & sticky bomb reworks cause they really need one!
