Wanted to make a list of console commands since i've seen new players join lately and ask how to do things such as how to check what music is currently playing or how to give themselves all weapons. I do plan on updating this list here and there so feel free to suggest some in a post for me to steal add, enjoy ig. =P

(Core/Client Commands)

Bind
Bind any action to a key.
Example: bind g taunt

Changemus
Changes music for the player when typing in a music code, this command can also be used to check what song is playing currently. Additionally you can load your own music as a WAD/PK3 and play it anywhere.
Example: changemus mrxmus

Chase
Switches the players view to third person.

Color
Sets your player color block using HEX codes.
Example: color FF 00 00

Fov
Changes the players Field of View
Example: fov 90

Idmypos
Shows the players coordinates on the bottom right side of the screen, helpful on larger maps.
Example: idmypos 1

Kill
Causes the player to die instantly

Maplist
Displays a servers maplist rotation, this is especially useful for those who host custom maps

Name <yourname>
Changes your player name.
Example: name \c[n5]MegaMan\c-

(Admin/Offline Commands)

Addbot
Adds a bot to the match.
Example: addbot airman

Changemap
Changes the map to the respective map/level code
Example: changemap mm8duo

Fly
Allows the player to fly around freely

Freeze
A toggle that stops almost everything in it's tracks from other bots to projectiles/hazards as well as certain stage elements.

Give
Gives the player a variety of weapons/items/runes/etc to choose from.
Example: give 8bdmweapons <--- (Gives all weapons & upgrades with the exception of Dawn Breaker.)

God
Makes the player invulnerable

MDK
Kills whatever your cursor is pointing at. Bypasses armor/invulnerability entirely.

Noclip
Disables collision detection, allowing a player to move through walls and terrain.

Take
It's the opposite of the give command, you can use it to remove a certain amount of health and ammo.
Example: take health 60

Turbo
Allows the player to either increase or decrease their speed
Example: turbo 150

Hey all you Mega Fans! We're back again with another V6C Newsletter!

Before we get into the subject of today's newsletter, I just wanted to thank you all for your input on the community poll. The poll is closed now but it will be some time before we announce our plan going forward. When we do, it will be back in that topic and will not follow the newsletter schedule. We just ask for your patience as even with the poll closed, it certainly won't be something we'll be ready to talk about immediately.

But enough of that. Let's actually show something new and exciting! I only have one subject to show you all today, but it'll be unique as far as these newsletters are concerned. So please take a look at this.



That's right! Chest, Plum, and Ripot are being added as brand new skins in V6C!

For those who don't know, this trio of news reporting robots originate from Mega Man Battle & Chase, more specifically Rockman Battle & Chase as they were more or less completely cut outside of the Japanese release of the game. But in our quest to try to encompass bits and pieces from the entire Classic Mega Man series, we felt that these three would make great additions to the skin roster.

Unlike map edits and weapon reworks, we very rarely get a chance to do anything new and exciting with skins outside of fixing up some older ones or adding a new roster when a new game is represented. So being able to add these three is certainly a very welcome addition to the many, many things being added in V6C!





I hope you all enjoy seeing this trio in action when V6C releases!

Added a UDBScript and PK3 system to the main post to help with adding Escort / Multi-Point Capture support to any maps you want to add support to.

To use it:
- Add the PK3 to your preferences (same window where you add the v6b resources)
- Click on "scripts" on the side tab, then open the "Examples" folder in explorer by right-clicking, and put the .js file into it.
- Place the things in the "Score Frenzy" tab in the map.
-- The Escort Path actors are logged in the order they were placed. Should start at the Wily Team flag position and end at the Light Team flag position.
- Run the script and it should output paths for both.

Make sure to remove the actors from the map once you're done setting them up (or don't save if you have no other progress on the map) since they aren't going to be included in the mod itself, and will conflict when the file isn't loaded.


Added a WIP weapon to more easily setup Escort paths. Load with any maps you want to add support to; it will not work with Score Frenzy. Best used with a local server.

Use mainfire to place a point, altfire to place a checkpoint and reload to reset all points. Type "EscortLog" in the console to get a script output from the server client when done, or "EscortVisualize" to reset the preview.
