Vile Weapons
Hello, hello! Allow me to introduce you to one of my longest running projects, VileWeps!
One of the biggest weapon packs in terms of content (though, not THE biggest, as of writing this.)
This weapon contains over 200+ weapons to play with and blast opponents with in variable amounts of mods, some originating from old mods I have worked on, others being from known fan-games such as Make a Good Mega Man Level, Mega Man Christmas Carol, Rokko Chan, or even other games of interest like Cave Story!
We have also officially merged with Encore Weapons for the forseeable future, so they shall be maintained here as well. More weapons will be on the way (though probably take another year, oops.)
This titan of a weapon pack contains...
Over 200+ weapons including Buster Upgrades, and an Item.
A new TRAINING MAP function! Hold ALTFIRE to scroll through weapon selection faster! You will probably enjoy it!
Possession/Roboenza Frenzy/Saxton Hale compatability! Go nuts!
A vileoptions console command! Currently, the most you can do with this is server owner stuff like disabling categories of weapons all at once. Might see use in the future, don't count it, though.
Consisting of old and recent mods I have worked on, such as Wily Inc, MiscCBM, and Saxton Hale Rebirth.
Weapons from well known fan-games like Make a Good Mega Man Level, Mega Man Christmas Carol, Rokko Chan, and more!
A few straight up original weapons, or from lesser projects! Or passionate games like Cave Story!
Official Grand Classes permission to add the Quints Revenge weapons! More from GC might come in the future!
We have also officially merged with Encore Weapons for the foreseeable future, so they shall be maintained here as well.
More weapons will be on the way (though probably take another year, oops.)
The (Vile) Weapons
Here, you can see the full list of content in this update!
But that's not all! As a token of generosity and there being so many, you can click these individual categories to get the TRAINING data descriptions for each of the weapons!
Weapons from an old map I worked on, given a total facelift in the days of today! Berserker Rush is a weapon that gets stronger and faster the lower the user's health is, at it's strongest below 10. Shield Spiral summons a ring of shields that circle around the user, blocking projectiles and harming anyone hit, though rapidly draining ammo while in use. Restriction Ring fires a triad of rings that momentarily stun an enemy, and pushes them back. Onslaught Gatling loads bullets into the clip rapidly, before unleashing them in a deadly barrage! Though, ammo is harder to obtain with this. Tunnel Driver burrows into the ground, spewing deadly debris and allowing fast travel, before tunneling back up. Sneak Traverser cloaks the user, increasing their speed for great escape before reappearing and launchng snakes. Flame Barge throws pillars of flame, but charged up grants a deadly dash. At maximum charge, the dash rains said pillars of flame! Scorch Burst slams you down to the ground, causing walls of flame to rise in a growing spread. Plasma Trident fires a trident that homes in and tears into enemies. Sea Call calls upon the sea and summons three flounders as missiles to rush into an enemy. Deadly if all three hit. Frost Shard's projectiles bounce and last a short while, ripping into enemies caught in it. Freeze Splice can be charged to unleash a rain of ice or a spiky floor, depending on where it is aimed. Toxin Bomb launches a bomb that emits deadly toxic Roboenza where it lands. Crash Bang fires a bomb that upon detonation, splits into several waves of extra damage! Police Bunby lifts the user into the air for aerial assault, lasting a fair while before dropping them back down. Air Wall launches a spread of shield tornadoes that arc upwards. Boomerang Rush gives a burst of speed while held, launching twin boomerangs at an angle repeatedly until ammo is drained or released. Flash Clock tosses a clock that, after a few seconds of delay, stops players in time in the area around it. Forest Toss throws a horizontal wheel of leaves that rains more leaves down to the ground akin to a trap. Napalm Crash drops a bomb that splits into burning flames in a 3x3 area. Those stepping in it get cremated. Arrow Laser combines Arrow Buster and Laser Buster, into a combo weapon. The charge shot stops an enemy in place, and deals massive damage. Gear Metal's cog drives forth upon landing, before backpedaling the way it came. Best used up close for maximum damage when it curves back. Gemini Splitter splits into two additional beams each after the laser collides with a surface. Shadow Star throws a shuriken that bounces once into the air upon contact, and bursts into a burst of kunais targetted at the closest enemy. Sonic Spin fires a supersonic projectile when fully charged, or a rolling ball at mid-charge. Tenor Blaster rapidly accelerates as it flies, but when charged launches the user into the air where their rate of fire is increased while midair. Bomb Blast hits hard on direct hits, though chews through ammo rapidly. Nebulous Guard guards the user and fires projectiles from the shield until it is launched. Coolodown afterwards is determined by how long the shield was held. Binary Splitter unleashes two projectiles that weave left and right over and over. The trails also do damage.
Weapons devised to give copy weapons to classes in CBM who don't have any! Auto Bomber spews short ranged bombs rapidly, akin to Eddie Bomber. Boxart Rocket launches a rocket that falls off to gravity after a few seconds. Justice Meteor propels the user forth in a holy aura, before launching the meteor forth for a second. Either hit launches enemies. Honeycomb Hive bursts into lines of honey when colliding with the ground, slowing down those hit. Royal Spin rapidly moves the user forth when held, dealing damage to those in their path. Trio Tribeam when held summons beams around the user to rapidly deal damage. Those hit by the beams have their attack power reduced temporarily. Lunar Discs fires a spread of discs that burst into flame upon hitting the ground.
Weapons that originate from the Make a Good Mega Man Level series, including custom-made weapons for robot masters not given weapons! Haunt Pumpkin slowly homes in on targets, but explodes and gives the user health in return. Can only have one out at a time. Badge Barrier summons four badge shields, and has you rapidly fire bullets. Every 6 bullets (or next click), the next shot fires off a shield piece. This continues until there are no more shields left. Neapolitan Bomb splits into a sphere of projectiles after a short time. Multiple (cosmetic) flavors! Truffle Cluster fires four bombs. Direction of the spread alters if the user uses the alternate fire. Cyber Distorter locks every player caught in its area for a limited time, the user limited to the buster. Has more uses, but still lacks ammo. Force Beam fires a condensed beam that rapidly eats up ammo, but tears into opponents. Hazard Trapper launches sliding waste, and can be charged up to fire multiple at once. Match Blast backblasts the user opposite to where they are aiming, most powerful at point blank otherwise, but is a movement tool mostly. Power Orb encases the user in a glass ball, allowing them damage resistance, resistance to most hazards, and the ability to bounce around the map. Joe Grenade launches two grenades in a spread. Wishing Shield summons a ring of stars over the user, driving them forth until they hit a wall or player, where the stars will disperse. Sear Combustion blows up the area around the user, though at the cost of some health. Usagi Kunai launches a spread of kunais that each individually deal poison damage to enemies hit. Boil Blazer launches a burning trail that rapidly moves forth, but expires with time or bouncing too many times. Groovity Spark bounces far and wide, unleashing bursts of sparks around it at intervals. Neon Flash blinds foes that are caught in the projectile's explosion. Spike Mill rushes a surging trail of spikes that shoot up and then fall back down. Element Supercharge charges up when not fired for a second, and launches a homing projectile. Projectile loses damage with every subsequent homing. Scatter Trickshot fires a bullet that splits into a cone of five bullets upon contact with a surface.
Weapons themed after the fusion masters of Mega Man Rock Force! Terror Spines fires four spines that pierce enemies, and alternates vertical directions with each cycle. Thrill Blitz launches a burst of two bouncing spheres, with different speeds and bounces. Plague Purge Plauge Purge pews out a rapid onslaught of arcing projectiles, splashing against the floor for small extra damage. Lava Launcher Lava Launcher is a close ranged flamethrower that can deal sustained damage, though close ranged. Flare Burst fires projectiles that upon making contact with the ground, the bombs turn into a short shockwave. Port Interface shoots forth an instant burst of three straight projectiles, each with varying speed. Power Parcel fires a slow piercing shot that can go through shields. Can be charged up for larger damage and size. War Sword swings a sword that launches a projectile forth, and a slash that can knock away foes with sustained damage. Death Scythe is a very delayed, yet POWERFUL close ranged slash. Hitting an enemy with this will restore HP. Fish Finder rapidly launches fish missiles with homing capabilities. These missiles require the user to have visual of target in order to home in. Polar Plows fires short but rapid bursts of polar waves, launching to the sides. Does the most damage on a direct hit! Righteous Spiral is slow to start, but the ring of projectiles expand outwards the further it travels.
Weapons based on Cave Story and its bosses! Star Spur is a buster upgrade that can be charged up to unleash deadly laser beams. Can also be mashed for rapid fire. Polaris Boost is a buster upgrade that grants a mobile directional boost after jumping in the air. Can go in the cardinal directions, or straight up by standing still. Machine Gun can be aimed downwards to propel the user upwards. Altfire removes this. Golden Triad fires three missiles that rapidly accelerate. Best used at point blank. Kingly Blade can be charged up to swing a spirit forwards, that generates more slashes in an area around it if they hit an enemy. Torrent Bubble fires a stream of bubbles that circle around the user, but upon releasing the trigger, every bubble shoots lightning towards where you aim. The bubbles can eat projectiles, thus functioning akin to a shield. Inferno Fireball launches up to four bouncing fireballs at a time before a small cooldown. Pierce Snake launches a projectile that spirals and burns through walls before fading away. Nemesis Striker rapidly pumps out strong bolts of lightning, but chews through ammo to compensate. With insufficient ammo, the weapon is reduced to firing mere ducks. Brace Barrier reduces damage and negates ripping damage for 8 seconds, but is hard to regenerate. Riot Missile is a 5 way horizontal cluster of missiles that travel backwards and spread, before zooming forward. Curse Thunder launches a ball that travels upwards, dropping lightning strikes as it travels. Rabid Burst delivers a quick burst of projectiles in a random angle. First shot is always precise. Sand Swarm has a bit of windup, but begins to rapidly rain projectiles down around the user that persist for a small bit. Floral Hibiscus tosses a flower pet out, that repeatedly leaps at opponents to collide with them. Black Swelter unleashes a ring wave of projectiles around the user that fizzle out for big damage. Cross Claw is a rapid slash weapon that thrusts the user forth with every slash. Porcupine Fish is a shotgun weapon that launches porcupine fish. After a few seconds, the fish start moving in the opposite direction. Crystaline Cave charges up your buster, before unleashing a rapid swarm of bats for as long as the button is held down. Must be at full ammo to use. Rending Shield extends a shield in front of you that reflects projectiles. Each time it does this, it drains the duration faster. Whimsical Star are an attack item that spawn three stars, rapidly targeting and orbiting around you, dealing damage to anyone in their way!
Weapons themed around the Friday Night Funkin' Pixel Day entry, Funk Man! Rhythm Buster is a buster upgrade that fires shots that pierce enemies once, and can be charged to do more damage. This upgrade charges faster than most others. Speaker Support Speaker Support calls in Speaker, who drops an L-Tank that heals all of your HP. Recieves less ammo on pickups, however. Sound Test fires an 8-way burst of notes all around the user, that goes through enemies. Double Spook lobs a bomb that splits into two more bombs in front of it upon landing on the ground. Blam Barrage is a rapid fire gun with inaccuracy but notable damage with precision, true to it's name of a barrage. Limo Boogie makes the user dash forth rapidly for strong damage, knocking the victim high into the air. Petal Sprout lobs a rose that splits into petal projectiles in four directions, and up and down. Assault Cannon uses ammo hungrily, but in exchange for a single tank shell that is unsightly strong and explosive. Ballistic Bomber throws a bomb that explodes each time it bounces, and gains more damage with consecutive bounces.
Weapons themed around my set of robot masters! (other 4 coming soon) Paint Splash lobs puddles of paint that the user can step on to gain increased bouts of speed. Surge Torrent launches a thunder projectile that locks targets in place when hit repeatedly. Deflector Panel summons a shield that steadily drains ammo, but fires counter projectiles when hit. Can be used in conjunction with other weapons, but ammo drains until it runs out or is desummoned. Leech Crossbow fires a dart that sticks to enemies for poison damage, returning the damage as health to the user automatically. Gear Cutter lobs a bouncing shredder blade that repeatedly stops and rips through any enemy it hits.
Personal takes on the Mega Man 11 weapon implementations! Block Dropper drops a pinpoint radius of bricks. Has a certain range and height limit. Pile Driver drives you forward and can be steered. Colliding with anything causes a burst of damage. Tundra Storm stops you in place as you unleash a torrent of ice, stopping any foes hit in their tracks. Bumps you into the air once done. Bounce Ball fires a three way spread of bouncing balls. Has a rare cosmetic variant. Acid Barrier puts up a barrier of pure acid, giving you armor and changing your buster shot. The barrier dies after some time, or if enough damage is taken. Chain Blast fires a chain bomb that increases speed as it goes. Damage stacks depending on how many bombs the victim has on them overall. Scramble Thunder fires an energized ball that rips through enemies and splits into two floorcrawling projectiles on surfaces. Split orbs deal lingering damage on hit Blazing Torch unleashes a flaming ball that harasses the ground with spreading fire waves.
Reconfigured vanilla weapons to act differently, originally from Saxton Rebirth! Cluster Bomb lobs a bomb that splits into a cluster of mini bombs upon contact! Use this for pressure or long ranged damage! Time Arrow fires time arrows that can halt the momentum of your opponents. Charge to unleash Time Slow which slows down the movement of all Robot Masters near you for a few moments. Use the time to hit them with your weapons! Time Hold unleashes a burst of energy around you, stoppin' any foes momentarily as it rapidly drains ammo! Spin Top Throws a top that crawls along the floor, and does a spin attack on contact. Spark Lobber throws a spark ball that unleashes a short ranged area burst that slows down enemies caught in it! Rain Grenade throws a grenade that on contact or enough time passing, spreads rain all around it for area of effect damage! Dive Mine fly forward and deny area, exploding on contact with an enemy. Skull Spiral sends a spiral of skull shields around you, blocking shots and dealing strong damage to those caught in it! Compact Flash is a four-shot burst that blinds enemies on hit for a short duration. Gyro Boomerang hovers you upwards if you're airborne! It flings a gyro boomerang that returns to you on hitting a wall. Can be used to tear through enemies! Star Flow is a contact damage barrier that lowers the user's gravity. Fires a bouncing projectile on discarding. Gravity Coil boosts the users into the air, and hits any enemies in the range, sending them straight to the ground. Yamato Spread is a tearing weapon that fires shotgun clusters of spears, alternating spreads! Plant Pasture throws a plant bomb that bursts into plants! Any foes hit in it are leeched of health. Spreader Flame fires a torch shot that splits repeatedly into flame pillars. Sniper Barrage rapidly fires a burst of missiles, in a wall formation that travel a short distance, before homing in on the closest target they see. Use for pressure! Jewel Encaser grants you a barrier energy, rendering you invulnerable for 10 seconds! Jetblack Repulsor can be detonated early or on a surface, which rapidly deals damage and repels any enemies in its range. Can be used with other weapons while active. Strike Lightning is a rapid weapon that upon contact with a surface, summons a lightning strike. Saturn Orbiter creates a hole in space that follows you to protect you from projectiles in a large radius. Pressing fire again will detonate the hole and damage enemies.
Weapons taken from flash game Rokko Chan, including two fortress weapons! Rolling Ring fires a spread of three bouncing rings. Has fast firing speeds. Jet Missile fires a missile that homes in on an enemy's location. Weakness is walls. Volcano Cannon fires a quick projectile that blows up into repeated explosion damage. Lightning Flash sends a shock projectile forth that pierces enemies and hits them once for strong damage! After being hit, the enemy speeds up then slows down. Ice Shield spawns a shield that does contact damage, but the user becomes slippery. Can be thrown. Forest Whip lashes strong close ranged damage. A good get off me tool, but otherwise risky to pull off. Redound Axe throws out two spinning axes, that each deviate up and down and boomerang around. Does not explode on floors, which can prolong the damage. Assault Lance primes a shield and lance and dashes forth, blocking projectiles in front of you and knocking hit enemies away!
Ported from Grand Classes, weapons from the two Quint's Revenge games! Copipi Swarm gives you what's essentially a second jump while spawning projectiles. Hard Slam lets you slam into the ground to create shockwaves. Leaf Bomb bounces around then spawns a Leaf Shield where it lands. Magnet Chaser chases opponents more aggressively than Magnet Missile and speeds up over time. Needle Crusher works like Thunder Claw, only more dangerous. It can also go through walls. Metal Catcher brings back health after it hits an opponent. When returning, if not holding any stolen health, it will drag pickups along with it. Spinning Top rapid-fires a bouncing top that spins. Clash Blaster spawns an AoE that does a lot of damage. Vulcan Burst creates a giant slow-moving fire pillar. Allegedly this weapon was named after a Greek God. Recursive Bomber throws a projectile that explodes twice. Dream Twins spawns 2 clones of the player that do damage. Surge Binder fires a beam that rips through players and stuns. Hook Drill hooks to the ceiling with a drill while creating debris. Pressing fire again will allow you to detach from the ceiling and preform a melee attack. After detaching the drill will follow you. Sonic Boomerang throws two boomerangs that deal more damage while returning to you. Upon return a bit of ammo is given back. Time Wrap rapid-fires knives like a machine gun while creating an AoE that slows players down. Requires full ammo to use. Snake Commando fires a snake that seeks out and rips through players.
Weapons based around the Mega Man Christmas Carol trilogy! Marley's Shackle fires a close ranged projectile that can hit twice, chained to and from the user. Past Minion summons a floating skull over your head, and enacts a passive attack around you. You can change modes with altfire, and switch weapons while it's active. Present Surprise drops a gift box that can be kicked forward to slide on the ground and explode. Can also be jumped on for a boost. Future Scythe tosses scythes that boomerang back after hitting a wall, and can be thrown in groups of three. They deal damage on the forward and on the way back. Rubber Duff sends out accelerating food balls that bounce off players and continue to accelerate. Best used in a room you can crowd it in. Hum Bug pops a canister into the air that explodes into a scatterfest of bombs. Can be detonated early with a ceiling, but explodes on its own otherwise. Candy Cane launches a projectile that sticks to walls and even multiple of itself. Good for traversing some gaps. Twinkle Buster is a rapid fire weapon that shoots spreads of 5 stars. Weak at long range, but super effective up close. Dance Tornado sends the user spinning into the air, much like Top Spin. Using it at all flings you into the air as a boost, and can be used like an uppercut. Hat Boomerang slings an eponymous boomerang in the shape of a hat! While it travels, bullets repeatedly fire from the top and bottom of the hat, and each projectile bounces off a surface once. Mistletoe Barrier is a non-protective shield that repeatedly fires sliding projectiles, and can be released for a cluster of four projectiles. Slightly increases jump height. Mother's Pie lobs two pies that burst into diagonal projectiles on contact with an enemy or surface.

Acid Drip throws up an upwards drop of acid that spreads into a cluster of falling drops upon contact with a ceiling. Golem Pound drives you into the air for a powerful slam, and then you can hold the fire button to keep grinding forth against the ground, spewing debris! Sunrise Salvo loads up to three groundbearing flames at a time, leaving area mayhem as they travel.
Encoreweps' MM&B2 Weapon category! Bullet Vulcan shoots a metallic bullet that can split into weaker copies of itself. Brass Bullet is a weak, very accurate homing projectile that greatly increases in damage over distance. Flame Shower is a spray of weak lingering flames that have greater hitstun if they're stepped on. When the dash ends, the doppel follows you, splitting into 3, and hurting opponents in the way. Doppler Attack creates doppels that hold in place until released, where they all fly in the direction they were originally aimed at. Time Switch summons a clock that electrically charges the ground to increase the user's speed. Anything caught between it and the ground will suffer an electrifying demise. Use it in mid-air for an extra thrust! Time Bomb lobs a clock that slows down enemies in a small radius, dealing decent damage if it hits directly. Barrier Wind creates a powerful gust of wind, which can blow away enemy projectiles, increasing its duration with every successful deflection. Wind Cyclone blows two gusts of wind that swerve in between each other, blowing back enemies hit by it. Trailspark Needle spins two electric needles around the user, and shoots sparks forward and back. The electricity builds up on consecutive uses, increasing the amount of sparks shot per attack! Cardinal Ring throws a spiked ring, which can spin through walls, block incoming fire, and deal decent damage.
Encoreweps' Misc Weapon Category! Maestro Buster is a buster upgrade that spews a string of shots on its mid charge, or fires a charged shot that trails exploding runes behind it! Joe Buster is obtained from an inventory item. It allows you to shoot slow, powerful shots and block enemy fire with a shield! Revolver Buster is obtained from an inventory item. It allows you to fire a barrage of fast, strong projectiles, at the cost of having to reload. Use Altfire to reload earlier. King Rod extends a rod that drags enemies towards you and deals stronger damage on the first hit. Tidal Bulwark surrounds you with a retaliating water barrier, allowing you to switch weapons and attack normally while it does its thing. Time it right to parry incoming damage! Hyper Torrent gusts out a short ranged cloud of air that throws enemies backwards. The user can also jump and bounce off of the projectile into the air. Purity Meteor charges up and releases an immensely powerful meteor dash attack! Use Altfire to fire energy fists. Nova Beam charges up and releases an immensely powerful laser that can go through surfaces! Bonding Paste sprays an adhesive substance which can catch under the feet of enemies, greatly decreasing their speed!
Miscellaneous Weapons that can be themeless/anything! Waste Lobber lobs three bouncing projectiles per burst. Loses travel speed when ammo drops below 66% and 33%. Glitch Shot deals poison damage while making the enemy take 50% extra damage on top of the duration. Magnet Beam summons a platform that damages enemies all the way where the projectile ends to the user. Can be detonated early. Vanta Gatling is a buster upgrade that replaces it with a gatling gun. Has to reload every time firing stops. Warp Portal is a swift teleport that silently damages enemies on the way to it's cosmic destination, with critical damage at the ending point! Hyper Buster is a buster upgrade that fires a devastating powerful shot that pierces through enemies. Break Barrier summons a barrier around the user that can absorb up to 150 damage before breaking. Upon shield breaking, the user is sluggish in movement for the next couple of seconds. Harsh ammo charge. Clammy Harpoon fires a drenched harpoon that spawns a water spout wherever the harpoon lands on the ground. Okami Claw lets the user swing a close ranged slash that can deal powerful damage. Aiming it upwards results in a small uppercut. The Widowmaker is a shotgun in which hitting targets returns ammo. Righteous Bison is a buster upgrade that shoots slow, ripping projectiles. Has infinite ammo, but must reload.
Use these server variables when hosting a server to disable certain weapon packs you might not like!
For example, when hosting, and you don't want the Funk Man weapons, you type "vile_sv_funkmanweapons false"!

Over. Two hundred. Weapons. Sizzling circuits, that's a LOT.
I have a suggestion for you, Vile.
Considering that there are quite a lot of categories jampacked in here, I would prefer to have only some specific weapons - and NOT the entire pack. Please, make separate PK3 files for each of these categories... so that anyone could download only the weapons that they would want to be packing.

The biggest weapon packs (AllanxWeps / VileWeps) frowns upon this due to the feature of disabling categories already being available and that flooding server configs with a dozen files would be really unfun.
I don't think people would want +500 weapons being spread across 20 files if you have to download every single one of them and the modder has to update every single one of them, it's just cleaner to put everything into one single place.

Ah, this argument debate again.
As you can see in the forum post, there is a category dedicated to Server Variables the host of the server can toggle on and off at their leisure, in order to disable weapons they do not want to appear.
The reality is I could. I COULD separate each category into their own weapon pack. But that would not be kind to the File Limit that hosted servers have. If Vileweps and Allanxweps were to do this category-by-category file structure, you'd barely be able to even host anything else, let alone other maps and weapons.
So, in favor of being able to host everything we have in servers, that is why its all in one file.
If you don't like a weapon pack or just want a certain few, please refer to the Server Variables spoiler note. You can type these into the server startup commands when hosting, or manually disable these through server administration.
But I will not be separating each category, to avoid file bloat.

No go, huh.
I have to decide what weapons to enable through the options every time I turn the game on... when having separate files would've EASILY solved that issue?

Okay.
There is literally a menu that makes this easier, and it saves your selections offline. Online is just a matter of setting it up in start up.
Please stop making this sound like a mind-numbing chore when the alternative is being very server-unfriendly, and the method I've provided is very user friendly.
For servers hosted by TSPG, this typically borders around 60. Now that doesn't sound too bothersome, until you start factoring in map packs and other weapon packs into the equation.
People host with many map packs, weapon packs, and quality of life fixed / addons. I host a gamemode (Saxton Hale Resurgence) with as many good maps and weapons as I can fit in. That has ~8 files left I can put in.
Do you know how many individual files Vileweps and Allanxweps combined would be worth? Around ROUGHLY THIRTY. Not factoring in other maps, weapon packs, and quality of life addons like Ping Button and UI Extensions.
So no. Individual weapon files just is not happening. And that's why I've made disabling and enabling weapon categories to your liking as accessible as I can.
