How To Enable Voice Chat + additional commands.
A quick guide here:
Feel free to put your own info in this thread on how the settings work to make it more simple for others to understand or to configure.
The distances at which a player's voice becomes quieter and/or hearable are also controlled with the CVars "sv_minproximityrolloffdist" and "sv_maxproximityrolloffdist".
(The values of which are at 200 by default iirc.)

I recall a mod that goes by the name tactical? Only seen like 2-3 people play the WAD.

[SUGGESTION] More Details on Automap
As the person who implemented this initially for Gondola, I definitely would be interested in having a similar feature carry over. Regarding weapons, however, the concern was that it'd require modders (and ourselves) to implement an extra actor and graphic for every weapon that we make.
Reason being, Zandronum doesn't have the feature to allow us to transfer the sprite from one actor to another. Even if it did, we'd still probably want to use a separate graphic that's offsetted differently, since using the current weapon icon's offsets causes a weird swivel effect as you rotate the automap.
I'm also not sure if automap icons for the circuit board and terminator sphere pickups would be the most fitting for those game modes since they don't use the radar like CTF and Skulltag. While those modes were still getting overhauled in V6B, we toyed with the idea of having a "proximity" radar instead of the typical CTF radar, but I'm not sure if there'd be a way to reflect that mechanic on the automap.

Is there currently a public-facing discord for this? Just curious.

What are some underrated/forgotten MM8BDM Mods?
Invasion was probably the first mode I saw really start to develop (and in turn the first to die) when I started playing. It was a lot of retextured Doom maps and Super Moby enemies that shot Crystal Eye laser beams, but I remember getting a small amount of fun out of it.
Talking PvE in general, Invasion (as a romantic concept) maybe has more staying power in my head than the more linear MMSP levels do, but I'd also probably need some bells and whistles to avoid getting bored of the maps once the challenge of beating them is over.

How do I shoot the Mega Buster?
How to shoot the Mega Buster correctly
The art of shooting the Mega Buster is very apreciated in the entire world, but some do it wrong and don't recieve a good experience. So now time; we will teach you how to shoot the Mega Buster correctly. This is the result of 3 years studying people that do this type of art.
1st – Get a Sandpaper. Sandpaper is very important, because with it you can protect your hand to have contact with your Mega Buster. It gives a satisfying feeling to you.
2nd – Use a Toothpaste. Using a toothpaste combined with the Sandpaper will increase your precision by 70%. If you don't have a Toothpaste in your house, use Pepper Sauce, it gives the same effect. And you can even use both of them!
3rd – Charge. Just Charge. Fast, slowly, Strongly, Weak, it doesn't matter how you do. At the end you will shoot a charge shot by the ending of the weoweeweoweowee sound and get many frags. But your Mega Buster probably will be in cooldown and almost painful, but it's the “little” colateral effect of this experiment. So, enjoy it!
